In 2017 I founded Sarah Shrubb PA Services providing professional PA support to SMEs throughout the UK. This proved to be a resounding and thriving success. After building up a strong portfolio of clients, I have joined up with my husband Darren and together we have launched Delegate Business Support Services Limited to bring together our solid skill set to continue to help and assist you and your business.
With over 25 years PA/admin experience, I am passionate about providing valuable support to SMEs and busy entrepreneurs. My continued support has helped my clients find more time in their day and has saved them time and money by improving their efficiency.
I’m a highly organised, proactive & positive professional with excellent interpersonal skills. I am very detail-oriented with a flexible can-do approach, extremely resourceful and have exceptional multi-tasking and organisational skills. I firmly believe by delegating your admin and business tasks to us you will be able to feel so much more organised and in control and thus allowing you to focus on your business and do what you do best.
My clients are all long standing, and I have helped them to grow their business and support them along the way which I believe is testament to my trustworthiness, reliability and dedication to each client.
Darren
I have a wealth of experience spanning over 3 decades in ‘head of’ and ‘senior management’ roles across operations, finance, business management, offshoring, testing, project management and transformation.
Having worked with C-level Executives and Managing Directors in some of the largest UK companies such as Openreach, Vodafone and Lloyds Bank, but also within fast growing SMEs delivering innovative IT services and products, has given me a breadth of experience.
I have always been known for my trustworthy, honest and hard-working approach and have been successful in leading projects and teams in very challenging and changing environments.
I am a qualified, Agile Scrum Master and Prince professional and ISTBQ tester. I run my own Game Changer workshops which has helped shape objectives and priorities within a complex set of targets that businesses face month on month, year on year. We all know that being lean, profitable, having demanding targets is a reality and something we have to cope with so setting the right objectives will get us there.
My wife, Sarah, and I have joined up to form Delegate Business Support Services and this was an opportunity to run our own business and with that I bring my experience and skill set to support you and your business.
Every problem is resolvable! It’s just having the right time and the right support in place to help with the tasks that you don’t enjoy, which are not your sweet spot and that take you away from what you are really good at. Seeing people at all levels, including myself, spending way too much time on the less important parts of their role and neglecting the things that really matter like growing the business, developing the team, thinking strategically and also not putting the customer first and this is largely down to administration overheads that just zap your time and energy.
Over the years, I have worked with some fantastic PAs and Business Managers during my career and working with great support people is worth its weight in gold.
